Hong Kong Productivity Council’s 2011‐2012 Annual Report, titled ‘An Orchestra Performing Excellence for 45 Years’, is available for iPad download.
Symphony orchestra is selected as the theme for the annual report. Conducting a symphony orchestra is used as a metaphor for the management of an organization. Each musician of an orchestra has his/her own part to play, and the conductor must lead and coordinate individual musicians and various instrument groups in a right way, such that the orchestra can deliver best performance. Likewise, over the past 45 years, HKPC has been assisting enterprises in Hong Kong to maximize their productivity and expand their market share. Just like the musicians of an orchestra, the members of HKPC staff display a spirit of professionalism, diligence and cooperation which keeps HKPC moving forward.
